Education

I am a student at Ball State University in Indiana, however, I am from the Chicagoland area in Illinois. I love to play tennis in free time that is allowed. My life story is quite lengthy - as most usually are - the main jist is that I enjoy helping others. I am a mission trip junkie during the summers. I enjoy serving others while serving the Lord. I am an Urban Planning major within the College of Architecture and Planning; I am not exactly sure where life will take me or where I want to be in 10 years, but I know that I will enjoy the ride.

Experience

In high school, I ritually dedicated time to tutoring my peers. Not only was this a responsibility of the National Honors Society, to which I belonged, but this was something I really enjoyed doing. I focussed the majority of my energy aiding students in Math, Chemistry, and Biology. However, I also enjoyed tutoring students in Spanish and German languages; I am a fast learner and learn more by teaching. I love tutoring because not only am I helping someone, but I am also helping to enrich my own education. My math skills range from algebra to geometry. I have experience from various levels of Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry, and Calculus. I am a wiz at proofreading papers. I have a good understanding of advanced grammar and sentence formation. My expertise is in reformatting or reviewing essays for classes. I have had 5 years of Spanish classes. My expertise lies in the grammar. I recognize appropriate Spanish grammar versus poor grammar immediately. I am passionate about learning languages and pick them up quickly.
